Summary Rainbow Childcare is licensed by the State of Wisconsin for 207 children between the ages of 6 weeks thru 12 years.
Established in 1990 to provide childcare for a community that desperately needed a high quality facility for our community families.
Through the support of sponsors, we were able to build a new, large facility that gives ample space for a large number of children to learn and grow under the professional supervision of highly trained staff.
Our mission at Rainbow is to provide the highest level of childcare to our greatest resource, our children.
We strive to help children explore, grow and learn through activities and free play that allow each child to develop their personal traits in a caring and loving environment.
Rainbow Childcare's school age program provides before school care for school age children in the Monroe area.
Children participating in the after school program will be picked up from their schools at the end of the day and brought to Rainbow where parents may pick them up.
This program is also in session on early release, and no school days.
During the summer this program turns into a summer camp.
Summer Camp is an all day program offered to children who have completed Kindergarten thru 12 years when school is not in session.
Duties Maintain records and files of children and necessary paperwork.
Maintain records and files of staff as needed Maintain the center's materials and supplies and inform the administrator of needs in a timely manner.
Show knowledge and understanding of children's development and offer an age appropriate learning environment and curriculum in the center.
Refer children with special needs for evaluation.
Plan and provide an opportunity for one-on-one interaction with each child.
Maintain an orderly, safe and sanitary room.
Plan and provide a daily routine for children that are relaxed, positive and developmentally appropriate.
Show awareness of individual needs and help children learn to satisfy them.
Made good use of resources available when planning unit themes, field trips, and speakers on a regular basis Requirements Must be 21 years old high school diploma or its equivalent.
