Design and create data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards, infographics) that convey meaningful insights from complex data sets to non-technical audiences.
Utilize Tableau to develop dynamic and interactive visualization solutions.
Ensure visualizations are accessible and understandable to the intended audience, enhancing decision-making processes across the organization.
Develop and maintain documentation and libraries of reusable visualizations.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and adopt best practices in data presentation and storytelling.
Provide training and support to business users on data visualization tools and best practices.
Participate in data governance processes to ensure data quality and integrity in visualizations.
A strong IT Data Visualization Specialist will possess: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
Proven experience as a Data Visualization Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role with a strong portfolio of visualization projects.
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.
g.
, SQL, Python, R).
Strong understanding of design principles, data visualization best practices, and the ability to apply them to create clear and effective visualizations.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Creative thinker with the ability to translate data into compelling stories.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts in simple terms.
Ability to work independently and with teams, managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Safety at CNG: Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way Physical Work and Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
