Are you interested in being a part of something special? The Fireside Restaurant is seeking an *Assistant Restaurant Manager* to join our team!
Under the direction of our Restaurant Manager, our _Assistant Restaurant Managers _are responsible for assisting in running the daily operations of the restaurant; providing efficient, expedient, and courteous service to all guests.
Other essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assists in supervising servers and bus staff; planning and directing work; interviewing, orientating and training new associates, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Establishes rapport with customers ands solves complaints in a diplomatic way plus report them to the Restaurant Managers.
Manages difficult or emotional customer situations.
Responds promptly to customer needs.
* Ensures all food dishes served are according to menu, properly presented and of correct temperature.
* Protects employees and guests by providing a safe and clean environment; including the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, furniture and stations.
* Upholds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Assistant Restaurant Managers are required to work a full-time schedule with required shifts Thursday through Sunday.
