What You’ll Do:
As the Operations Supervisor, you’ll assist in monitoring and training the workforce in various functional areas with direction from the Production Manager on the shift’s scheduled output.
You’ll be accountable for achieving company objectives regarding cost productivity, customer service, safety, and quality.
You’ll collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee and assist in the training and supervision of 1 full-time employee and 40-60 temporary employees to perform various production processes and activities.
You’ll also be responsible for:
• Preparing for upcoming shifts by reviewing production plans and ensuring necessary people, tools, and equipment are in place.
• Supervising, training, and monitoring production personnel.
• Assisting with scheduling and communicating pack production for your shift.
• Identifying effective processes that add value to the bottom line.
• Enforcing continuous improvement, correction active, and preventive action plan implementation based on analytical or process mapping findings supported by reporting and metrics.
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to Operational Management in tool usage, change management, root cause identification, and process improvement methodologies within the Colony Brands supply chain.
• Determining goals, direction, and action steps necessary to maximize the short and long-term success of projects within Operations.
What It Takes:
We need an experienced supervisor.
This person must possess professional-level communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management and 5+ years’ experience in supervisory and fulfillment management in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
