Accurate Machine Products is a leading precision manufacturer specializing in prototype and short run machining.
We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist Supervisor.
The lathe supervisor is a highly skilled individual with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Ideal candidates will be responsible for scheduling, programming, operation and oversight of the CNC Lathe Department.
This is a working supervisor position.
Primary Job Duties:
* Schedule and monitor jobs within the Lathe Department.
* Programming complex prototype and production parts using Fanuc controls.
* Set-up CNC Lathes with live tooling, multiple turrets and barfeeders.
* Adhering to and maintaining quality standards throughout the machining process.
* Training, directing and monitoring 1-3 employees on multiple machines.
* Complete all related paperwork and interface with ERP system.
Ideal Candidates Should:
* Have a passion, desire and commitment to the CNC Machining trade.
* Have extensive experience with CNC machining, programming, tooling, operation sequencing.
* Have experience in a “job shop” environment – highly technical parts, low quantity runs.
* Experience with Fusion 360 is a plus.
* Knowledge of ISO standards and procedures a plus.
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
* 3-5 years of G&M code programming experience, preferably with Fanuc or Fanuc equivalent controls.
* Print to part experience, including programming, set-up and operation.
* Accuracy in reading and comprehending complex blue prints.
* Proficiency with various quality measurement, testing and documentation processes.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Proven dedication through longevity with former employers.
