Prop Shaft Supply is seeking a Human Resources Manager.
We are growing and are looking for an individual to help us take the next steps in our growth.
This position originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.
Duties Include: * Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, YA program, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing programs, employee relations, and exit interviewing.
* Administering various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel, assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, and preparing and maintaining the employee handbook.
* Benefits administration to include change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees, processing claims for FMLA and STD.
* Responsible for tracking employee attendance.
* Weekly Payroll Administration.
* Maintains affirmative action program – files EEO-1 report annually and maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations * Assists in evaluating reports, decisions, and department results with established goals.
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual efficiency improvements.
* Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from the database * Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
* Responsible for all aspects of Workers’ compensation claims, OSHA Log tracking, communication, etc.
, and serves as company Safety Program Manager.
* Performs other related duties as required and assigned Requirements: * Equivalent to an appropriate four-year college program.
* 3-5 years of previous work experience in the HR field * PHR/SPHR Certified Preferred · Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $60,000.
