THE TEAM

THE PLAYER
You are responsible to effectively act as authority/go to person for private events.
To provide event details to the front of house and back of house teams.
To provide guests with quality food and service in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
EVERY DAY, YOU WILL
· Introduce yourself to contact person of event, make sure their requests are clear and properly executed by staff.
Ensure staff follows BEO requirements.
· Supervise, train, and ensure the performance of assigned banquet staff so that all procedures are completed to Geronimo standards
· Receive event requirements through detailed communications with event managers, and sales managers.
· Ensure set up of banquet room(s) including linen and china
· Follow health and safety practices always
· Scheduling of FOH banquet staff
· Regularly attend BEO meetings
· All prep work must be completed prior to event start time
· Observe service of food and/or beverage; ensuring consistency throughout event
· Set up buffets (as needed) to the standards established by the restaurant management
· Respond promptly to any guest request
· Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude and mannerism
· Maintain clear and open communication between all staff and kitchen for overall event success
· During event, ensure cleanliness all work areas and completion of any side work duties for overall productivity and success of the event

Requirements:
YOU WILL BE GREAT AT THE BELOIT CLUB IF
Experience and/or Training
· One year or more banquet management work history preferred.
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Must be 21 years or older
· Some level of management skills desired
· Refined verbal and written communication
· Be able to keep up with a fast paced environment
· Be able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance
· Stand and/or walk entire shift
· Must be available nights and weekends
