*General Summary*
The Maintenance Operations Supervisor is a working position that will provide service and repair support to campus buildings and equipment and supervise maintenance technicians.
Accurate documentation, adherence to standards of work and safety requirements are vital to this position.
*Essential Job Functions*
* Supervise maintenance technicians in accordance with plant policies and procedures, including coaching and counseling of personnel, as well as utilizing Progressive Discipline Policy as applicable
* Review maintenance requests daily and schedule work based on ongoing evaluation of urgency
* Assist Plant Manager and Division Engineer with equipment/materials purchases, researching items and preparing purchase orders as needed
* Oversee preventative maintenance schedule
* Contribute to annual budget preparation process; monitor maintenance purchases throughout year to ensure adherence to budget
* Communicate with other Operations Supervisors to ensure equipment service and repair needs are properly communicated
* Operate within set Standard of Work (SOWs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
* Mentor technicians and motivate personnel to safely complete service and repair projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner
* Meet and address safety requirements for all maintenance personnel, to include authorization of equipment operation, and train/enforce EHS standards
* Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required

* Ability to be forklift certified
* Understanding of budgeting process
* Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
* Ability to handle stressful situations, manage time, and multitask
* Ability to speak, read, write English
* Ability to work across all shifts
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivering presentations
* Experience with all Microsoft Office products
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently, stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and work overhead
*Education and Experience*
No specific educational requirements.
Strong maintenance and machinery background.
Three to five years’ supervisory experience responsible for direct supervision of maintenance department, preferably in manufacturing environment.

Pay: $80,000.
