What You’ll Do:
As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will partner with the Accounts Payable Manager in helping drive business excellence and the continuous improvement of all Accounts Payable operations.
This role will collaborate with team members both within the department and outside of the department to streamline processes and assist in day-to day operations.
This role will also be responsible for the completion of Accounts Payable account reconciliations, and the administration and oversight of the Expense Management solution.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense
Partner with Accounts Payable Manager to help develop policies and standardized procedures that support business objectives and ensure the effective and efficient processing of Accounts Payable information
Identify and help develop and implement methods and procedures for tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPI’s) in partnership with the Accounts Payable leadership.
Perform with month-end, year-end, and audit closing procedures and reporting
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues
Lead in the development of training programs and provide training to the Accounts Payable team as needed
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Support the accounting team with accurate accruals and reconciliation of major general ledger accounts
Responsible for processing annual 1099 reporting and distribution, W-9 documentation, and vendor account maintenance
Lead and support improvements to existing technologies, implement processing efficiencies, and play an active role in the design and implementation of a new ERP system and supporting solutions
Lead and manage 2-6 members of the AP team, including assigning tasks, setting goals, providing guidance, and conducting performance reviews of AP Specialists
Proactively monitors the activities of the team, identifies problems, and recommends appropriate corrective action to ensure a successful outcome, while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management

Requirements:
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Associate Degree in accounting preferred
At least 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory position
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounts payable work experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effectively balance multiple priorities at the same time
Excellent attention to detail, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive improvement
Excellent interpersonal, listening, and leadership skills
Ability to interact with multiple internal and external customers to help with problem solving and conflict resolution
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience working with ERP solutions including OCR technologies; ERP implementation experience preferred
Ability to primarily work on-site
