We provide development to help you grow your career Associate discount What You’ll Do: This program consists of paid, intensive hands – on training and focuses on teaching the skills to be successful in the key disciplines of Inventory Management including Inventory Availability, Allocation and Replenishment theory, Inventory flow and Collaboration with cross functional departments such as Merchants, Planners and Supply Chain.
Primary responsibility will be working with Demand Planning Manager and Demand Planning Analyst in a specific Division/Department of business.
Utilize Replenishment system to order product from vendors/DC End to end management of purchase orders for inventory replenishment Develop ad readiness strategy for key promotions Review vendor performance to identify opportunities for lead time, fill rates and safety stock.
Build relationships with key vendors to ensure strong partnerships.
Collaborate with Merchandise Planner and Merchant team to make sure budget plans are being met or adjusted as needed.
Identify and resolve out of stocks at store level Identify opportunities for sku segmentation and sku optimization Associated Functions: Assist with preparation for monthly OTB meetings Assist with preparation for key vendor meetings Assist with preparation for weekly business recaps With direction from Sr Demand Planning Manager – Build and deliver special project identifying opportunity for improved inventory strategy within key area of business.
What it Takes: Successful candidates for the Demand Planning Internship must be enrolled in an accredited University or College and be graduating within 12 – 18 months of the internship
