Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for the receipt and coordination of goods coming through the warehouse, managing a team of warehouse workers, and assisting the Warehouse Manager in the day to day operations of the warehouse department.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Accountable for supervisory functions of the shift/department assigned
Coach and lead the Warehouse team to increase productivity and provide high-quality customer service
Ensure quality standards and productivity standards are achieved with safety being a priority
Track productivity to meet company’s requirements and maximizes operational efficiency
Assist with various transportation/warehouse duties related to DOT regulations, OSHA, fleet operations, and scheduling
Ensure completion and proper execution of work procedures
Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Associate's Degree with 3+ years of related experience and 0-1+ years of supervisory experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of related experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience
Excellent problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated business and financial acumen
Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriately
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be able to pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Knowledge of computer software and warehouse management systems
Experience working in the beverage industry
