About the role
Global Sr Director, Product Management, Pharma Cell Nutrition and Bioprocessing Materials
Key responsibilities
Responsible for sustainable and profitable growth of portfolio – P&L responsibility
o Lead key initiatives to achieve revenue, margin and market share objectives.
• Own the relevant technologies (hydrolysates, yeast extracts, enzymes) in terms of:
o Product strategy
o Commercial lead for new product innovation
o Positioning (understand the competition and responsible to develop value proposition in coordination with marketing) o Price (in coordination w sales & commercial finance team in implementing pricing strategies)
o Promotion (in coordination w sales & marketing in implementing promotion strategies)
o Placement (Geographical)

• Serves (or team member serves) as the single point of responsibility & the global liaison with production plants, supply chain, sales, finance, and regulatory affairs
• Responsible for internal and external growth strategies for technologies and lead long term strategic planning and budget setting, including exploring new complementary or adjacent technologies
o In coordination with sales, responsible for delivering opportunity pipeline that can deliver on medium term and long-term budgets
• In coordination with strategic marketing, perform market research; define market trends, understand competitive landscape, investigate customer needs, customer requirement and product specifications as appropriate to enable focus on markets that will deliver the highest return
• Ensure technologies correctly positioned within wider offerings of biopharma EUMs and other relevant EUMs (eg, cultivated meat, non-pharma fermentation)
Qualifications and skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Has lead teams for 5+ yrs
Requires 10+ years’ experience within the pharma industry, preferably with B2B experience and past product management experience
Need proficiencies at integrating data into developing strategy and action plans with solid cross-functional background.
An understanding of Profit and Loss, Budgeting, Forecasting are necessary, including the ability to build and analyze financial models to forecast and track results
Looking for a person with a combination of commercial, technical and operations skills/knowledge and the ability to roll up the sleeves and find creative ways of getting the job done
Strong demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
Technical knowledge of biopharma processes with a working knowledge of cGMP regulations
