Continue your development as a Project Specialist helping to support our Press Solutions group.
As a Project Specialist you will work to develop Valmet Service solutions to address our customers’ needs for replacement parts, equipment upgrades or turnkey deliveries.
You will oversee proposals and active projects for accuracy, timeliness and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
Creating quotation packages and project specifications for proposal / options to be sent to customer.
Reviewing reference drawings for accuracy and use in obtaining bids from suppliers and vendors for use in proposals.
Performing some Project Management duties for active projects, including sourcing of materials, reserving Valmet Service personnel and / or contract labor, and ensuring timely delivery and installation.
Working closely with our Service Engineers, Product Specialists, and Field Service Specialists to ensure project meets needs of the customer.
What you'll need:
We're looking for motivated candidates who enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Associate's Degree from a two-year college or Bachelor's Degree from a four-year University in a related field; Engineering degree or background preferred but not required; three to five years experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting - paper industry experience strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
