Looking for part-time workers for after-school childcare.

Job Qualifications
2 + Years of experience in working with underserved children and tweens/teens
Strong knowledge of youth development
Ability to motivate youth and implement positive behavior intervention system
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, vendors & community
Ability to review lessons, plan and implement quality programs for youth
Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment
Physically able to perform activities with children
Ability to move from seat to seat or to a standing position immediately
Additional Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
CPR/First Aid Certification
Strong interest and/or knowledge in science, engineering, technology, or math
Specific Job Responsibilities
Program Planning: The STEM Teacher instructs members and facilitates their learning in accordance with Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs policies and guidelines.
This role involves guiding members in engaging STEM learning activities aimed at promoting intellectual and social growth.
The STEM Educator focuses on delivering high-quality programming through in-person and online activities.

This includes programs the Lead S.

M Teacher is running as well as the surrounding visible areas and any other area within the Lead S.

M Teacher should ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and that it is being used in its intended manner.
Program Implementation:
The Lead S.

E.
M Teacher is personally involved in Club programming and demonstrates high levels of enthusiasm towards Club members and visitors while encouraging participation.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher should constantly praise members for good efforts and provide constructive feedback to ensure member's get the most out of every experience.
Guidance:
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher provides guidance to all club members.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher must be able to recognize “trouble” situations and have the ability to diffuse the situation.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher should be able to construct one on one sessions with members for problem solving and conflict resolution.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher should always be conscious to develop positive values and ethical behaviors within the members.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher should strive to model these values and behaviors not only while working at the Club but outside the Club as well.
Administration:
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher will be consistent with the Club's system of record keeping (i.
e.
, turning in timesheets, attendance, and membership forms).
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher will ensure that his/her program areas have the proper supplies.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher will utilize the assistant as necessary.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher will have weekly, monthly and seasonal plans and will evaluate the program s/he is running on a regular basis.
The Lead S.
T.
E.
M Teacher will report bi-weekly to the Director of Operations and/or Unit Director.
