Responsibilities:
As a Support Lead, you play a vital role in ensuring the people we serve are well-cared for and encouraged to live as independently as possible.
In this leadership position, you are able to motivate other Direct Support staff to go above and beyond for our participants.
You will train new employees to give them the skills they need to confidently provide personalized service.
In addition to leading your team, you also have the opportunity to work directly with individuals with disabilities.
From home cleaning and laundry to providing medication reminders and assisting with meal prep and grocery shopping, you are happy to help your clients with whatever they need.
You also get to take them out for activities and medical appointments.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalency
Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage
Flexibility in scheduling
Ability to operate computer equipment; knowledge of various software packages including Office Windows applications 2003 and above
PREFERRED
Related two or four-year degree
Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of issues that affect people with disabilities
Previous direct or related experience
Schedule:
Community-Based Support Leads are scheduled 40 hours per week.
Community-Based Support Leads are scheduled M - F day hours, plus on-call rotation to meet unscheduled needs.
Plus weekend coverage if necessary.
