The Warehouse Operations Lead has general responsibility to assist in coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities on a daily basis.
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for directing work assignments in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 4 am - 12:30 pm, Sat 6 am - 2:30 pm
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals
Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
Directs work assignments to employees
Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities
Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor
Communicates professionally, both orally and written, to internal and external partners
Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and WIs
Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery
Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience with Warehouse Management System
Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint).
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
Ability to input data on the computer to create a daily inventory report.
Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received.
Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
MHE experience or desire to learn MHE.
Must have attention to detail
Must have excellent customer service skills
Previous Sit Down, Standup Forklift and Reach truck Experience
Other:
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.

Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
Walking in the Distribution Center and around the area with great frequency, facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
