Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Program/Project Manager to lead a critical project, CPS230, in preparation for new APRA regulations.
The focus of this role is to ensure the successful implementation of the project plan for the North American (NA) division.
The ideal candidate will drive the delivery of all initiatives related to CPS230, collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
The position involves managing change across people, processes, and the introduction of new systems, with an emphasis on the delivery of a new SAAS tool for the division.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Lead the implementation of the NA division within the defined requirements of the CPS230 project.
Drive the successful execution of the Global Project Plan and incorporate any new recommendations specific to the NA division.
Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with internal business subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop an internal team project plan.
Drive the team towards milestones, tracking issues, risks, and dependencies.
Manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
Communication and Reporting:
Provide weekly reports and updates to stakeholders.
Develop and deliver team and senior stakeholder communications.
Support change management activities and ensure effective communication channels.
Technical Skills and Experience:
Proven experience leading business projects, emphasizing change management.
Implementation of new business processes, including the introduction of SAAS tools.
Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Experience with 3rd party risk, risk management, and operational risk.
Very detailed, extremely organized, and able to multitask effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with the business side of the implementation of FusionRM (Third Party Module) is ideal.
Procurement risk and FusionRM experience are helpful but not critical.
Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.
MS Project experience is preferred, but experience creating plans in tools like Excel is required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Program/Project Manager.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including interactions with vendors.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Hands-on and resourceful, able to delve into details as needed while summarizing at a high level.
