Hey folks!
I’m looking for a bassist (electric, acoustic, or upright) or baritone guitarist who would like to join our band Fangerlis
(I’m also always looking for more solo folk instrumentalists to join our motley crew)
We’ve been called folk punk, death-grass, thrash grass…I describe us as “cowboy-murder-grass”.
We’re a little bluegrass, a little outlaw country, a little punk.
If you look at our socials, you’ll see that we are “based” in Madison.
I moved to Janesville last year, so if I can find a bandmate that’s closer for practice that would be ideal (and carpooling to gigs is a bonus for both of us!)
Looking for someone with flexible weekend availability, can practice at least twice a month (preferably once a week, but every two weeks is doable), reliable transportation, and willing to travel long distances throughout the Midwest multiple times a month (and eventually after our first tour this summer, even further).
I book at LEAST two gigs a month.
I live for the music.
I’m looking for someone who has a big fat passion for writing and performing awesome original music and commit to the grind of the DIY band life.
