Overview: Responsible for the sales and growth of occupational health and wellness programs for Mercyhealth.
Investigates the communities' occupational health and wellness needs.
Performs diversified duties contributing to the positive corporate image by providing clients and affiliated company accounts with the highest possible level of service.
Creates, develops, sells and manages all aspects of new and existing employer groups and clients; scheduling, coordinating, and managing on and off site wellness screenings for revenue, including flu shot clinics.
Works with team lead/manager/director/medical director for arranging professional and staff support at wellness screenings and educational events.
Works closely with mirror position in alternate State.
Occupational Health, Janesville WI 80 Hours/2 Weeks Monday - Friday, Day Shift, No Weekends Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identifies and contacts new business, develop a business relationship and assist them to fully utilizing our array of Occupational Health and Wellness Services.
To be an information resource for our clients as pertains to OSHA rules and regulations, Workmen's compensation issues, and current trends in advancing the health of their organizations.
Implements and incorporates programs by coordinating efforts/resources of other Mercyhealth professionals including MercyCare Insurance.
Provides support and participates in projects that are related to the promotion, delivery and/or enhancement of Occupational Health and Wellness as required or directed.
Creates, plans, executes, tracks, and evaluates occupational health efforts for specified product lines.
Promote cost effective ways of initiating and maintaining health programs for the client as part of wellness/health promotion.
Prepares sales plans, ideas for promotions of all areas on a quarterly basis.
Maintains relationships with current and prospective companies.
Call on new and existing companies on a continual basis to ensure satisfaction with services and to promote new services.
Represents Mercyhealth Occupational Health & Wellness at business social functions, chamber events, Mercyhealth events and other community forums to promote, inform and showcase our services.
Continually look for methods to increase market share for services.
Attends and coordinates wellness screenings and other educational events, promotional events with employer groups and/or brokerage firms in Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois.
Knowledgeable of and be responsible for remaining current with applicable State and Federal regulations and billing guidelines.
Provide weekly updates and progress reports to Medical Director and Director (or designee) Develops, reviews, and implements quality management plans Stays current of knowledge of health care trends within Mercyhealth's service area and on national level and applies the knowledge appropriately to the program.
Create annual engagement strategy and integrated communication plan and review monthly.
Visits clients/client sites on a regular basis Manage sales pipeline and opportunities in varies stages through close.
May be required to work flexible hours and weekends.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: BA/BS in Marketing, Business and/or Health Education or related field or in lieu of BA/BS 4 4 years of related sales experience.
At least five years of experience in sales; at least two years being with Occupational Health services.
Experience in safety education/OSHA regulations preferred.
Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist preferred.
Certified Health Coach preferred Certification/Licensure: For those driving Mercyhealth vehicles: Maintain a valid driver's license.
Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.

For those driving their personal vehicles: Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance when requested.

Special Physicial Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
