*Responsibilities of a Landscape Foreman:*
* Delegating tasks and overseeing the proper use of tools and equipment
* Recruiting & training new crew members
* Assessing progress and making recommendations
* Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times
* Completing and overseeing landscape/hardscape design and construction
* Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections
* Providing cost, material, equipment & time estimates
* Perform general landscaping duties such as tree/bush trimming, laying pavers, building retaining walls, spreading mulch/stone, spreading grass seed, etc.
* Conduct minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in landscaping
* Be willing to train and enhance knowledge in assigned duties
*Qualifications of a Landscape Foreman:*
* Must have experience laying pavers and building retaining walls
* Must demonstrate and have a knowledge of proper hardscape installation
* Ability to safely operate machinery
* Ability to follow and provide clear written and verbal instructions
* Experience in a leadership role
* Valid Drivers License required
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to lift 50 pounds
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time
