Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer
Status: Fulltime
Shift: 1st
As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, management, maintenance, and hardening of Aebi-Schmidt’s server and networking environment.
This position requires technical expertise, strong customer service, and organizational skills to support IT Infrastructure operations for sites and inter-site connectivity.
This position will also require assisting users with technical support.
Qualification and Skills:
Ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments.
Proven technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently
Willingness and ability to learn new skills and apply them as needed
Competency in communicating issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization and to external technology partners.
Disciplined in maintaining confidentiality when working with customers and internal information
Strong ability to manage projects with internal teams and external vendors.
Intermediate expertise in working with DNS, Windows servers, Windows Desktops, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft SCCM, and Microsoft Intune.
Intermediate expertise in network performance tuning, LAN Knowledge, network design, and implementation.
Intermediate expertise in creating and administering FortiGate site-to-site VPN tunnels, SSL and IPSec VPN tunnels, and firewall policies
Requisites:
Degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related work experience.
Relevant experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of a degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience designing network systems, upgrading networking equipment, updating network equipment, and maintenance.
