*Upholstery Position Functions:*
· Develop and utilize an understanding of what a high-end customer expects regarding quality
· Perform all operations necessary to build, foam and assemble upholstered furniture.
· Required to read blueprints
· Knowledge of hand/power tools: Drills, Staple Guns, Rivet Guns, Screw Guns
· Repair and rework any part of product.
· Package products when needed.
· Responsible for minor maintenance on equipment used in this function.
· Move material throughout department as needed.
· Must be able to watch for defects in components and raise quality issues immediately.
· Open to constructive feedback to help understand quality expectations.
*Inspection Position Functions:*
* Inspect products according to standard operating procedure.
* Notify management of sub-standard product and do not release to shipping.
* Perform minor repairs and rework on tables.
* Record all products inspected in inspection logbook.
* · Move material and product as related to position by using power and manual lifts.
*Position Expectations:*
· Exercise care in handling parts and products throughout the process.
· Responsible for producing a quality product that will pass inspection.
· Responsible for output meeting established production rates.
· Maintain safety awareness.
· Required to participate in communication to co-workers and supervisor in a timely manner.
· Willingness to be a team player and perform various other jobs in department as management directs.
· Maintain a clean area and help others clean.
*Qualifications:*
· Works with integrity and professionalism and takes pride in his/her own work.
· Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs.
· Ability to pay attention to detail and follow orders.
· Basic math skills
· Basic communication skills
· Knowledge of Hand Tools
