*Edge Guard Position Functions:*
· To setup and operate edge guard table edge finishing system including loading material.
· Perform maintenance on system if needed.
· Responsible for quality control and inspection of materials produced by this function.
· Responsible for producing at the established production rates.
· Accountable for accuracy in a record keeping required in position.
· Operate other wood fabricating equipment, and projects as directed by management.
· Do repairs in department.
*Edge Guard Position Expectations:*
· Must be able to watch for defects in raw materials and raise quality issues to team leader immediately.
· Required to participate in communication to co-workers, team leader, and supervisor in a timely manner as issues arise.
· Willingness to be a team player and perform various other jobs in department as management indicates.
· Able to work with all members of the department to assure established production rates and schedules are achieved.
· A high level of attention to detail is essential.
· Knowledgeable in chemical handling.
*Poured Edge Position Functions:*
· To setup and operate poured (molded) edge table, including lifting and loading material.
· Carefully monitor Inventory and tooling for poured edge.
· Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on system if needed.
· Monitor quality and inspect finished products before moving out of department.
· Must be able to perform and produce at the established production rates.
· Accountable for accuracy in a record keeping required in position.
*Poured Edge Position Expectations:*
· Must possess strong attention to detail in finishing process
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly in moving and loading tables for finishing process.
· Must have excellent math skills for mixing color chemicals.
· Must be able to identify and notify management of defects in raw materials.
· Must be able to work with all members of the department to assure established production rates and schedules are achieved.
