Accurately and efficiently prepare and maintain shipping/receiving/general stores products and documentation.
*Position Function:*
• Accurately prepare and maintain all paperwork for shipping, receiving and storage of product.
• Accurately and efficiently maintain all systems and files pertaining to shipping, receiving and storage of product.
This includes transfers product between offsite warehouse locations in the company computer system.
• Process shipping orders/ prepare product (cover, wrap, skid) as needed.
• Load trucks with product (semis, box trucks, trailers).
• Prepare all necessary reports as needed by company personnel.
• Prepare components and products for production departments as needed.
• Maintain certification on material handling equipment (MHE).
• Perform various tasks as assigned by Department Manager or senior management.
*Position Expectations:*
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and timely reporting of all information.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to switch gears and respond to quickly changing order priorities.
• Maintain professional relationship with customers, both internal and external.
• Assist truckers and freight services loading and unloading and with paperwork.
*Qualifications:*
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a shipping and receiving clerical role a plus.
• Advanced level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Above average communication and organizations skills.
