Position:
The Supervisor, Accelerator Operations at the NorthStar Beloit campus is responsible for the supervision of accelerator operations including other site activities that occur during their shift.
Responsibilities to include direct supervision of employees in a medical/pharmaceutical environment and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, FDA regulations, and company policies, as well as ensuring campus safety and security.
Work hours are on a rotating 12-hour per-day PM schedule.
This position supports production in a 24-hour manufacturing facility and may require evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate safety and quality issues raised by customers or staff in a timely manner.
Direct supervision of accelerator operator employees on campus.
Ensures vigilance to the production schedule to meet customer demands and reduce overtime (ensure the most effective and efficient use of personnel, materials, and time).
Demonstrates a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the department and business.
Demonstrates an ability to lead in a fast-paced environment in regards to production goals, standards, mindsets and behaviors both on and off the production floor.
Takes ownership and is an active member with continuous improvement activities including reliability team meetings, root cause analysis, SOP and Batch record improvements, Kaizen events, and Customer Complaints.
Qualifications:
Technical Degree in science, technology or engineering and one (1) year of leadership experience within a cGMP manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant military experience will also be considered.
Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
