*About the Role*
As an Electropolishing Technician at Advance Fittings, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining electropolishing equipment to enhance the surface finish of stainless-steel parts.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and passive layer on the products, adhering to our high-quality standards.
*Responsibilities*
· Set up and operate electropolishing equipment to treat stainless-steel parts as specified in job orders.
· Monitor the electropolishing process to ensure compliance with specifications, including time cycles, voltage settings, and chemical concentrations.
· Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts before and after the electropolishing process to ensure quality finish.
· Maintain accurate records of process parameters and inspection results in the production database.
· Troubleshoot process problems and adjust as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
· Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of electropolishing equipment and work area to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
· Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment as required.
· Collaborate with quality control and production teams to optimize process conditions and improve product outcomes.
· Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in stainless-steel finishing techniques.
*Qualifications*
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in metal finishing, electropolishing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
· Knowledge of high school level chemistry.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and operation manuals.
· Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
· Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle equipment safely.
*Working Conditions*
· Air conditioned, well-ventilated factory environment.
· Required to wear protective gear, including apron, gloves, and facial shield.
· May involve overtime as needed.
· Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.
