CNC Lathe Setup/Operator

```Job Overview:``` We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team.
As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for programing and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform various machining operations.
This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality parts and components.
```Duties:``` - Set up and operate CNC lathes to perform machining operations according to specifications - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders - Select and install appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures - Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers - Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts - Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the machining process - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance ```Qualifications:``` - Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role - Proficient in operating CNC machines and understanding G-code programming - Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) - Familiarity with using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders - Experience with CAD/CAM programming is a plus - Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision If you are a skilled CNC Lathe Operator looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to our manufacturing process, we would love to hear from you.
