We are a consulting firm based in Southern Wisconsin that does on-site safety for construction projects and general industry.
This involves employee training, site safety auditing, investigations, paperwork, and resolving customer needs.
There are times when you'll only do Construction Safety, and there will be times when you only do General Industry.
Our work activities are dependent on the current list of customers - which is a mix of both.
The position has you working from home when you're not scheduled to be somewhere specific.
When a schedule is sent, you'll be expected to be prepared and set up before the training class start time(s).
Doing presentations is a very large part of our job and it's expected that you can easily do common safety subject presentations.
If you're doing construction site safety, then you'll go from home to the site for the start of the work day.
Rarely is this job the same thing / same place each day.
If you live in Southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois, you live in the right place and will easily be able to drive to customers.
If there are further away places or places with early start times; we pay for hotels.
When you're driving, you're being paid to drive and you're driving a company car.

Not often, but sometimes the training times are very early in the morning and sometimes (very rarely) late at night.
The work is spread over many people and not all the bad schedules will be "dumped" on the new person.
We will train you and have material available for you to reference and you're also expected to share ideas and material.
The best applicant will be a genuinely nice person with good presenting skills that might have a degree or is highly experienced with work having been done in Construction and General Industry.
Pay is based on experience and education.
We provide all the computer equipment, projectors, and a company vehicle.
When there is no work scheduled, we typically work from home or flex the schedule for time off.
Nobody in the company reports to an office and we communicate often, therefore good communication skills are important as well.
The person that joins our team will be one that's gets their work completed without much direct Supervision.
