DUTIES:
To read and follow production schedule instructions.
To set up, operate, adjust and repair the feeds, scales, automatic filler, correct film, film placement, backseals, endseals, weight settings, production codes, metal detector and check weigher requirements/specifications.
To monitor and check the set up of the veg mix, case erector, conveyers, case coder, auto casers or handcasers, case taper and palletizer, assisting or aquirring assistance as needed.
To monitor and adjust all line functions of machines to produce packaging units that meet or exceed requirements/specifications.
To monitor and adjust all line functions of machines to operate at optimum efficiency; maintaining the maximum production rate with minimum downtime, production material loss.
To operate and coordinate the production line set up, production, change over and shut down.
To monitor and instruct line workers in line operations.
To monitor and maintain required packaging materials, products, ingredients and finished goods production.
Stops production to report any serious deviation from requirements/specifications, or malfunction of line equipment.
To maintain area housekeeping.
To maintain accurate record keeping; including the Darview System, Scanner testing and reporting, roll change reports and production records as required.
To tear down and prepare equipment for clean up.
Any other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must maintain a working knowledge for blood borne pathogens control and practices.
Must maintain a working knowledge for allergen control and practices.
Must work well with others as a production team.
Must be able to work with hand tools.
Must be able to follow complex instructions, manuals and procedures.
Must maintain a working knowledge of mathematics, weights, measures, time, codes and quantity estimation.
Must maintain a production average at _____% for all items produced.
Must have reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties.
Must work accurately with minimal supervision.
