Reports to: Operations Manager
Summary: We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production teams in our fast-paced aerosol manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees and monitoring the efficiency on multiple production lines.
Essential Functions:
Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
Plans and coordinates production to ensure schedule attainment, production volume and labor utilization
Prepare line for production by following work order specifications
Complete Standard Work as assigned
Manage coordination of off line production when assigned
Review work orders prior to and upon conclusion of each production run for accuracy, legibility and completeness
Own and accurately report used components, production scrap, and work orders
Coordinates with other departments regarding schedule, production status, defective materials, and inventories
Establish team goals that meet or exceed established quality standards
Assigns tasks to team members to meet and exceed goals striving to continuously improve.
Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures
Train, coach and motivate assigned employees
Monitor and track training assigned via the IKI Litmos training program.
Evaluate subordinate performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for work performance improvement.
Proactively promote and create a safe work environment for production associates
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent safety incidents.
Performs other duties as assigned

Computer skills, accurate data entry skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, be accountable, build trust and set the example for the team.
Must possess strong analytical skills and have an ability to identify and solve manufacturing process issues
Able to work independently without close supervision.
Willingness to take a ‘hands-on’ approach to supporting manufacturing
Ability to maintain composure under pressure and successfully navigate changing work demands or priorities
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree preferred
Previous supervisory experience required; manufacturing setting preferred

Basic math skills
Computer skills including: Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Data Entry
Work Environment:
Production environment, seasonal temperature fluctuation.
Areas of noise and dust may be present.
Physical Demands:
Standing and walking 95%.
Occasional bending and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders
Hours:
2nd shift hours, 2pm-1am M-TH, some Friday overtime may be required based on production needs
