Position scope/summary
The Receiver/Shipper is responsible for the packaging and shipping of product in accordance with training and documented procedures.
He/she is responsible for receiving materials and delivering them to the proper areas.
These duties are to be performed in a safe manner as to not cause damage to the goods.
This person has also the responsibility to monitor the cleanliness of outgoing product and to report any quality issues to the proper authority.
Frequent duties also include receiving of material, data entry, scheduling USP, Fed ex and other freight lines.
Essential duties and responsibilities 1.
Operates fork trucks and pallet jacks according to established safety procedures.
2.
Provides accurate documentation for inventory control.
3.
Verify completeness of all paperwork, reconcile quantities with production quantities, and close DHRs.
4.
Follows detailed instructions, processes and procedures.
5.
Know, understand, and follow plant safety rules, policies and procedures.
6.
Ship domestic and international orders daily, using UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, freight forwarder.
7.
Load and unload freight using manual pallet jack or fork truck.
8.
Break down pallets / take out cardboard and wrapping material to trash dumpsters.
9.
Receive incoming material and supplies based on purchase order descriptions and other applicable specifications in IQMS (ERP system).
10.
Basic mathematical skills typical of warehouse inventory recording (FIFO) responsibilities and shipping document(s) calculations.
11.
Data entry and report generation from IQMS (ERP system).
12.
Demonstrates efficient use of computer software.
13.
Seeks guidance and direction as necessary for the performance of the listed responsibilities and duties.
14.
Demonstrates good judgment in investigating and resolving problems.
15.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Report to work on time consistently, makes the best use of time during the workday.

Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be Self-motivated, dependable, and responsible, excellent attendance is needed.
