Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced assistant controller to join our finance team.
As the Controller, you will play a critical role in preparing financial statements, budget reports, and internal control systems.
Your expertise in managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial audits will be essential to our success.
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (master’s preferred) and at least 8 years’ experience in accounting.
You must be able to work independently and with the highest levels of integrity along with a proven track record of working in a centralized accounting office with a high growth company.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience in various accounting systems, is required.
You should also have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to team efforts and work closely with leadership.
Your ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables will be crucial to your success.
Reorganizing and centralizing the accounting office will be a critical function of the role.
This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and able to maintain records and prepare reports using accounting software.

The best qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent education
CPA License and/or MBA is preferred
Worked as an accounting professional in a company with at least 200 employees is required; worked as a controller in a company with at least 500 employees is preferred
Has had at least 9 direct reports at one time
Industry Experience in Construction is preferred
Controller experience in a company generating at least $25 Million in annual revenue
Experience managing treasure functions including cash flow and working capital management/forecasting
Worked as a "right hand" person to the CFO or equivalent
Has implemented new systems and standard operation procedures
Advanced MS Excel skills (assessment may be required)
