Production Manager (1st Shift)

About your new role: The Production Manager will coordinate, plan and direct production unit(s) activities resulting in maximum productivity with high quality, efficiency, and minimal loss and downtime.
Control activities to hire, assign, train, and promote manufacturing employees.
In addition to enforcing company policies and procedures, disciplining and terminating employees assigned to them.
Work on customer concerns/complaints with Quality Assurance and Sales per ISO procedures.
Direct and monitor planned manufacturing programs until fully implemented and functioning properly.
Responsible for efficient, safe, quality conscious and profitable operations of manufacturing unit(s).
Your hours: Monday – Thursday with frequent Fridays, 5:00 am – 4:00 pm.

in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Technical background preferred.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in the manufacturing supervisor/leadership role.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong mechanical background.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5 years of manufacturing experience minimum, 10 or more years preferred.
Strong knowledge of SPC tools and CPK process control requirements.
Ability to use computer and technology as necessary.
