Perform various functions within Warehouse, while assisting the department in maximizing space, increasing inventory accuracy, and meeting good manufacturing practices.
Assisting in meeting the safety, quality, efficiency, and scrap goals of the company.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1.
Operate a pallet jack.
2.
Achieve forklift certification for daily operation of forklift.
3.
Perform and record inspections on forklifts.
4.
Operate stretch wrapper and wrap finished product for shipment to off-site warehouse.
5.
Review and comprehend instructions on the Quality Requirement Sheet (QRS).
6.
Ensure barcodes are scanning and correctly located on the pallet.
7.
Ensure finished pallets are to specifications prior to wrapping (ie.
Correct number of layers, boxes, corner posts, and labels).
8.
Load finished product onto trailer for shipment to off-site warehouse.
9.
Organize bin locations within the warehouse to prepare for incoming material shipments.
10.
Perform trailer inspections prior to unloading the trailer, and on all outbound trailers of raw materials.
11.
Perform inspections on incoming material shipments prior to unloading.
12.
Unload and store incoming material shipments, noting bin locations.
13.
Deliver all material samples to quality in a timely manner.
14.
Load rejected material onto trailers for outgoing shipments.
15.
Load regrind and scrap materials onto trailers for outgoing shipments.
16.
Utilize software to perform, verify, and monitor inventory transfers and locations.
17.
Read and comprehend Warehouse material Schedules.
18.
Prepare and stage raw materials for use in production.
19.
Return raw materials to inventory upon completion of work orders.
20.
Ensure material on hold and/or rejected are placed in proper locations.
21.
Store finished Extrusion and Grinder product in inventory.
22.
Organize bin locations within warehouse to prepare for incoming material shipments.
23.
Perform cycle verification checks.
24.
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a safe work area.
25.
Transport of scrap bins to grinders and empty scrap bins to production.
26.
Complete training on all forklift positions.
27.
Assist in training.
28.
Assist with warehouse coverage at both locations (AP and PDC).
29.
Assist with all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to keep accurate records.
Ability to read and understand written instructions.
Ability to haul heavy loads.
Ability to work within a cross functional team.
Experience with warehouse processes.
Experience with forklift operations.
Experience with computer programs and data entry.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standing: Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Bending: Must be able to bend to floor.
Reaching: Must be able to reach forward and above head.
Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, on occasion.
Manual Dexterity: Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements.
Vision: Must be able to clearly read written instructions.
Hearing: Must be able to communicate with coworkers.
Speech: Must be able to communicate with coworkers.
