We are currently searching for Batcher to join our manufacturing team.
Batching Focus Area
Accomplishes the preparation of batches to meet standards and specifications for products manufactured.
This role will report to the Batching Production Supervisor.
Description and Responsibilities
Working overtime when necessary.
Working all scheduled inventories.
Filling out daily batching schedule control.
Adherence to all department procedures and GMP's.
Calculate amounts of ingredients needed for various batch requirements
Weigh raw materials as determined by formula requirements for batch preparation
Perform all tasks related to completing all required batches following batch record
Read mixing sheets to determine product specifications, processing information, technical information
Combine and processes weighed ingredients, observing batch throughout manufacturing process
Maintain accurate and detailed records and logs of all work performed
Demonstrate knowledge of and performance within acceptable laboratory safety standards
Make sure all paperwork is correct the day before
All paperwork is checked and correct before handing off
All lot numbers are double checked and correct and any discrepancies in Mysis are immediately addressed with the Inventory Clerk
Make sure all partials are used first
Left over product is put back in proper location at end of day
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Ability to work and communicate with other plant associates and shift supervisor
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Ability to complete Forklift Certification
Understands Food and Safety guidelines
Able to multi-task under tight deadlines
Must be able to work in a team environment and have excellent interpersonal communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Physical Demands of the Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, walk, and stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
