MasterMold LLC, is seeking individuals with an interest in Robotics/Automation Systems Technology for internships throughout the year.

Learn with our team, of plastics industry professionals, while gaining working knowledge on our in-depth and extensive line of equipment; from state-of-the-art P52 FANUC Robots to high tonnage presses.
We would like to offer qualifying individuals, a paid internship and real-world experience in Robotic Machining, Bonding Equipment, Robotic Material Handling, Preform Molding Machines, and Compression Molding Presses.
Areas of focus will provide students the opportunity to:
• Learn operating systems (FANUC and ABB)
• Exposure to editing programs while troubleshooting as well as route cause analysis.
• Exposure to PLC
• Understand how Proximity sensors detect the presence of objects.
• Exposure to electrical systems and pneumatics
• Assist in analyzing space requirements, process work flow, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers and Robotics Technician/CAD Specialists.
• Provide engineering support in production to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to automation systems technology as well as manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Learn how air pressure is regulated for proper resin to hardener ratio for optimal adhesion by static mixer.
• Become familiar with programming and troubleshooting using a Teach Pendant.
• Understand how working in an open environment can manipulate how adhesives flow through a system and the adjustments that must be made.
• Assist in analyzing space requirements, process work flow, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance on equipment.
