Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Operator forklift and perform and document daily inspections
Operate handheld scanner and use computer-based ERP system, as needed
Follow the daily productions schedules to support production
Supply various departments with required materials
Move finished goods, or material in process, to areas or to storage racks, as required
Use strapping tool to prep packages for shipment
Follow FIFO
Load and unload trucks
Create labels for products and understand bar code system
Monitor material for damage or deterioration
Follow all Shipping/Receiving work instructions
Provide training, as needed
Ability to work safely and efficiently without supervision
Use all PPE properly and follow all Safety Rules
Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
Perform other duties, as assigned
Position Requirements:
High School diploma/GED equivalent or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand work instructions
Experience with ERP system, hand scanners, and shipping and receiving processes preferred
Forklift knowledge and experience a plus
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
