As an engineer, Matt was frustrated with the lack of support and communication that various local businesses offered.
On that foundation, Legacy Machining, LLC.

With an automotive and defense engineering background, Matt is able to integrate lean concepts into the manufacturing process while April's business development background provides the tools for proper communication, planning, and growth.

Job Summary:
Legacy Machining, LLC.
of Fort Atkinson, WI is searching for an experienced CNC machine operator to oversee our CNC machines.
The CNC Operator safely and efficiently loads raw materials and sets up accessories.
You will be responsible for ensuring systems meet requirements from management while following company policy.
You will be responsible for producing quality parts specific to engineering drawings and client standards.
A successful CNC Operator has an eye for detail and can efficiently perform calculations.
However, they must also be able to think quickly on their feet while working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
* Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
* Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
* Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
* Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
* Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
* Complete production and quality logs.
* Communicate issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
* Ensure that results of the machining process align with client and Legacy Machining expectations.
* Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.
* Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
* 1-3 years’ experience as a CNC machine operator is a plus.
* Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawings.
* Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
* Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
* Good computer and mathematical skills.
* Great time management skills.
* Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
* Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
* Should have a positive and professional attitude
* Available to work as needed.
* Capable of standing for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for short periods of time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.
00 - $18.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
